Visit to Newburgh School Warwick
A small group visited Newburgh School in Warwick to give a talk on metal detecting and to let the children have a go themselves on the school field. They turned out to be experts as they managed to find quite a lot of interesting items. Click here to see some photographs taken by their teacher.
NCMD Midlands Federation of Metal Detecting Clubs
September 10th / 11th 2011.
The NCMD Midlands Federation Exhibition at Drapers Hall, Coventry, was the perfect showplace for some of the finds made by Midlands Federation clubs.
As a part of the "Heritage Weekend" the exhibition was very successful and a large number of people came through the doors over the two days.
